Billing

Before you type a card.

When am I charged?
Not for 30 days. Your card goes in at sign-up on Stripe's own page, and the first charge is on day 30. A week before, coil emails you the amount and the date. Cancel before then and nothing is charged.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, from Billing in your settings, in a couple of taps. No contract and no cancellation fee.
What does Stripe charge?
Card payments carry Stripe's standard processing fee, 2.9% plus 30¢ on a US card. coil can pass that fee to the client, up to 3%, everywhere your state allows it. Venmo, Cash App, Zelle and cash cost you nothing through coil.
Does my client pay coil anything?
Never. No booking fee, no service fee. Your client only ever sees your prices.
What does yearly get me?
Two months free, so $590 solo instead of $708 (you keep $118), and a 1-on-1 setup call with us. A shop pays $490 a chair a year.
What happens when I add or lose a chair?
The bill follows your roster, from 2 chairs up to 8. Chair 9 and up never cost anything, and an artist who leaves keeps their own page.
